Pool Electrical & Outdoor Lighting done properly
A new pool brings water, metal and electricity into the same few square metres of your backyard, which is why the wiring rules around pools are strict. Pool earthing (equipotential bonding) ties the pool's conductive parts together so there is no dangerous voltage difference between them. It has to be done at the right stage of the build, usually before the concrete or tiles go down, and it is one of the items your certifier will look for.
We handle the full electrical side of a pool build or upgrade in Camden South, Harrington Park, Oran Park, Gregory Hills and across Sydney: pool bonding, a dedicated sub-board for the pool equipment, weatherproof outlets and isolators for the pump, chlorinator and heat pump, pool light transformers, and low voltage garden and wall lighting to finish the yard.

Pools & outdoor lighting questions
What is pool earthing and do I need it?
Pool earthing, or equipotential bonding, connects the conductive parts of the pool and surrounds so they sit at the same electrical potential. It is required for new pools under the Australian wiring rules and is checked as part of the pool's compliance. It needs to be done before the pour or tiling, so talk to us early in the build.
Does my pool need its own switchboard?
Not always, but a dedicated pool sub-board is often the cleanest option once you add a pump, chlorinator, heat pump and lighting. It keeps pool loads off your main circuits and makes fault finding easier.
Can you work with my pool builder?
Yes. We regularly coordinate with pool builders and landscapers on timing for bonding, conduit runs and equipment connection so nothing holds up the job.
What garden lighting do you install?
Low voltage LED step lights, wall lights, uplights, path and spike lights, run from weatherproof drivers and switched by timer, sensor or smart controller.
