Power behind the TV
The clean look comes from a power point hidden behind the screen. Only a licensed electrician can install one.
Hide the cables
On plaster walls, HDMI and data cables can run inside the wall to the entertainment unit below.
Wall type
Plaster needs studs or suitable fixings. Brick and masonry need the right anchors. Heavy screens should never hang on plaster alone.
Height
Mount so the centre of the screen sits close to eye level when seated, usually lower than people expect.
Add data
A wired data point behind the TV gives smoother streaming than Wi-Fi.
